Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, and camera brand. This information is used to create your account and deliver alerts.
Camera Photos: Trail camera photos sent to your TrailVision email address are received, analyzed by AI, and logged. We retain detection metadata (species, confidence, timestamp) and may retain photos temporarily for analysis purposes.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including detection counts, credit usage, and alert history.
Payment Information: Billing is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never store credit card numbers or full payment details.

- To send wildlife detection alerts to your configured notification channels
- To manage your account, credits, and billing
- To improve our AI detection accuracy
- To send transactional emails about your account

3. SMS Communications
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS alerts from TrailVision.ai. These are transactional messages triggered by your trail camera activity. We do not send marketing SMS messages.

- We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Anthropic — AI analysis of trail camera photos (photos are processed per Anthropic's privacy policy)
- Twilio — SMS and voice notification delivery
- Mailgun — Email processing and delivery
- Stripe — Payment processing
- DigitalOcean — Cloud infrastructure hosting
All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
- Detection metadata is retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days
- Trail camera photos are retained for 7-90 days depending on your plan
- Account information is retained until you request deletion
- Billing records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of SMS notifications at any time
- Export your detection history
